Los Angeles, CA (or so) to Princeton, NJ

This was our first "On the Road, in 50 Miles" trip. We had to drive from San Diego to Princeton but did not have the idea of a visual record until after we had left L.A., so we're missing the first 200 miles or so. This trip was about 4,400 miles long because we did a lot of detours for hiking in the Southwest. We spent most of our time in the picturesque states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah, and we basically zipped through the middle of the country where the most exciting thing was probably Adrian, TX (which bills itself as the midpoint of Route 66). The trip took 14 days, from August 18, 2008 through the 31st.
