Day 1 of Kili Trek

We set out of Moshi at 8:30a and arrived at the Londorosi Gate at 11:45a (with a 30-minute stop due to van overheating). After registration and lunch in th gate area, we drove to the Shira Trailhead. The day hike started 1t 1:45p, with the weather holding up but the fog rolling in. At 4:15p, we made it to Shira I Camp, which started filling up very quickly. After early dinner at 7:30p, we turned in to get some sleep.
